<바이오세를 위한 콘서트>, 2022

<바이오세를 위한 콘서트>는 바르셀로나 오페라 극장의 예술감독 빅토르 가르시아 데 고마르의 제안에서 출발하여, 작가와 맥스 에스트레야 갤러리, 그리고 큐레이터 블랑카 데 라 토레의 협업을 통해 이루어진 프로젝트이다. 환경에 대한 성찰의 맥락 속에서 하나의 상징적 제스처로 구상된 이 작업은 2,000석이 넘는 객석이 오직 식물로만 채워진 채, 비어 있는 오페라 극장에서 진행되는 콘서트를 중심으로 한다. 이를 통해 인간 중심적인 ‘관객’의 개념을 전환시키고, 자연을 경험의 중심에 위치시킨다.

Concert for the Biocene, 2022

Concert for the Biocene originates from an initiative by the artistic director of the Barcelona Opera Theater, Víctor Garcia de Gomar, in collaboration with the artist, Max Estrella Gallery, and curator Blanca De La Torre. Conceived as a symbolic gesture within the context of environmental reflection, the project centers on a concert performed in an empty opera house for more than 2000 spectators occupied only by plants, shifting the idea of anthropocentric audience and placing nature at the core of the experience.
