AI(Pillart AI)
일본(Japan), 프랑스(France)
Rin Haneda × Pillart AI is a collaborative project team that operates through social media platforms, sharing a contemporary sensibility and a digital language. Based in Taipei and Nara, Rin Haneda is a digital creator who explores philosophical discourse and contemporary social phenomena across diverse media, including short film, theater, and novels, grounded in her academic background in sociology. Using generative AI to produce cinematic short videos, she reflects on the potential roles and ontological value of robots that may coexist with humans in future societies. Her work focuses less on technological progress itself than on imagining and capturing the social landscape of a future in which humans and technology coexist, thereby expanding the philosophical possibilities of contemporary AI video art.
In March 2026, Rin Haneda was selected as a finalist in two categories at the AI film festival The Bionic Awards in London, where she also received the Best Viral Moment Award (2026), gaining international recognition.
Trending War Proof, 2026
In an era in which every event is instantly transformed into content, Trending War Proof explores a troubling paradox produced by a world saturated with images. War still exists, yet it is no longer experienced in the same way as in the past. Some people flee from it, while others endure it. Meanwhile, in another part of the world, protected by the shield of “screens,” people continue to dance, film, post, and livestream—even as explosions echo in the distance.
The work unfolds within the familiar space of social media. In this world, the central figures are not “soldiers” but “content creators.” Representing the contemporary condition, their lives are structured by algorithms, trends, and audience reactions, where views, shares, and comments function as new metrics through which reality itself is measured. Within the scene, as influencers immerse themselves in luxury, pleasure, parties, and constant social performance, missiles repeatedly traverse the sky above them, triggering explosions. Yet here, war no longer interrupts everyday life; instead, it persists merely as background noise that heightens the atmosphere, and as an instrumental image for upload— designed to attract anonymous attention.
In this way, Trending War Proof does not depict war through traditional cinematic grammar. Rather, it captures how, within a hyperconnected society, the tragedy of war is transformed into and consumed as a peripheral spectacle. Violence is mediated and filtered, absorbed into the endless flow of images. In this process, war is no longer experienced as a concrete event of reality, but is reconstructed as a media landscape.
