Based in Los Angeles, Kelly Boesch is a visual artist who explores contemporary digital practice at the intersection of visual design, fine art, and AI. Drawing on the sensibility she has developed in the field of cinematic storytelling, she realizes imaginative fantasies infused with memory, atmosphere, and spiritual implications in the form of large scale immersive experiences. Moving fluidly across the boundaries of visual culture— from abstract painting and fashion to graphic design, music video, and film—her work freely navigates the intersection between art and commerce. It is characterized by a “conceptual openness” shaped through experimental design compositions, the harmony of vivid primary colors, and dreamlike surrealist narratives. Expanding the limits of creativity at the convergence of human artistic sensitivity and cutting-edge digital tools, she opens new horizons for digital art through the integration of precise prompt design and her distinctive aesthetic intuition.

After majoring in Fine Arts at the University of Akron in the United States, Boesch built a solid professional foundation in visual media through a 17-year career in film production and marketing at IMAX. She has worked as a creative partner with leading AI platforms—including RunwayML, Luma, Pika, Midjourney, and Minimax—and in 2026 delivered a TED Talk titled The Future of AI and Human Creativity. Her work has been presented internationally at W1 Curates (UK, upcoming 2026), the Fotografiska Museum (Sweden, upcoming 2026), Miami Art Week (USA, 2025), and the Cedarhurst Center for the Arts (USA, 2025), among others.

I Feel Alright, 2026

Set against the vast expanse of ocean and desert, I Feel Alright presents a playful and vibrant aesthetic through sensorial color, elaborate fashion, and dynamic composition. Yet beneath this visual pleasure, the work employs speculative storytelling to engage more fundamental questions regarding the “existence.” Within a surreal landscape stripped of everyday context, the world appears suspended in midair and what once seemed solid begins to dissolve; amid this confusion and loss, the work captures a quiet inner moment of resolve to keep moving forward.

On screen, avant-garde figures—bizarre hybrid creatures, towering organic forms, and disembodied eyes adrift— step forward fearlessly amid the sweeping storm. Despite the unpredictable and unfamiliar environment, these images paradoxically evoke a profound sense of calm and belonging. The work portrays a journey in which diverse subjects, leaving behind the anxiety of the unknown, come to discover “absolute freedom” within worlds governed by their own internal logics. It further articulates an existential sensibility that awakens within a new reality unbounded by convention. Designed using Midjourney and realized through VEO3, the work achieves a seamless harmony with the eponymous track I Feel Alright, written by the artist and produced with Suno. The lyrics, which explore the disjunction between a “turbulent world” and a “still self,” deepen the narrative while simultaneously conveying the sensorial pleasure of digital art and the emotional resonance of music.

For The Brave, 2026

For The Brave is a work that focuses on the human instinct to steadfastly hold one’s ground in the face of nature’s vast destructive force. It further conveys the aesthetics of the “sublime”—an overwhelming sensation perceived at the moment one willingly steps into danger to protect others, where beauty, awe, and fear intersect.

To translate this existential fear into a surreal and cinematic language, the artist adopts the strategy of placing isolated f igures within apocalyptic environments. Against a backdrop of clashing thunder and surging waves, dramatic images— storm clouds rising to form colossal facial contours, flickering f issures of light between dimensional thresholds, blazing f lames, and entire inverted cities suspended in the sky— intensify the tension generated by nature’s transcendent power. Even when confronted with landscapes that appear insurmountable, the figures neither flee nor succumb to helplessness. Instead, they plant their feet on collapsing red clay and continue forward, or stand their ground, facing fear head-on. In doing so, the work becomes a visual homage to brave beings who endure until the very end, extending a hand to those who remain even as the world collapses.
