The Busan Museum of Art, which opened in March 1998, is the 1st three-story modern-structure city museum with two underground levels. It is a popular cultural complex for citizens composed of 16 exhibition halls with a 6.321㎡ wide space for exhibition and a 160-seat auditorium as well as various subsidiary facilities including a library, Children’s
Gallery, open-air sculpture park, art shop, and cafeteria.
Keeping a pace with the trend of modern art, Busan Museum of Art has been developing into a gallery in harmony with Busan’s citizens through high-class exhibitions on diverse topics, educational program development, and a variety of art and cultural performances.
